Common Problems:

  • One of my buttons disappeared in Teams!
    • Click on the 3 dots in the menu to find the hidden buttons.
  • My student cannot view the chat in the Teams meeting.
    • Ask the classroom teacher or computer teacher to fix the student's membership in the Team.
  • Teams is not working right.
    • Update Teams and restart your device
  • The touch screen stopped working.
    • Restart your device. 
  • I can't find a menu/I can't right click on the touch screen.
    • Try tapping and holding as an option. Using a mouse, you can hover your mouse over elements of the interface to see menus, but hovering is not an option when using your fingers.
  • How do I see the open apps?
    • Click on Task View down on the Task Bar

Logging in for the first time: 

  • Please ensure you connect to your home internet or hotspot
  • Username - 6-digit student ID (PowerSchool Number which is also known as the i-ready log-in number or their lunch number)
  • Password - 8-digit birthdate (MMDDYYYY)

After logging into your device, follow the steps below to access student schedules:

  1. Log into edugoodies - http://www.edugoodies.com/scs
     
  2. Click on Office 365 portal (first tab) - will automatically take you to email
  3. Click on Apps on left hand side-find the TEAMS App (purple icon with people)
  4. Click on calendar (fifth icon on left hand side)
  5. Schedule will then appear
  6. Click on class- 
  7. Click join meeting (found at top right)- which will open the classroom up

Technology Teachers

Ms. Hanna and Mrs. Murchison might be able to assist with technical issues. If it is an emergency issue, try the T.R.A.C. support hotline first (901) 416-5300. Because library and computer classes go on throughout the day, the technology team may not get back to you right away.
